| Description: | Gyrodata is seeking a part-time Shop Technician. This position will maintain surface and downhole surveying equipment. Perform pre-job and post-job testing, and maintain a safe shop environment.

| Duties: | Duties / Essential Functions
Adherence to company policies
Gathers, assembles, tests, and loads tool kits
Identifies, cleans, breakdown, rebuilds, test and maintains all surface and downhole equipment
Assists with logistics of equipment and maintain shipping crates
Is familiar with the use of all shipping agents, air and ground carriers
Assists with asset control and inventory reporting
Maintains inventory and stocks consumables in shop
Performs safe operation of forklift
Maintains and has knowledge of various subs utilized in survey operations
Performs Hotshots as required (a hotshot involves driving from one location to another any time of day or night to transport equipment or personnel)
Loading and unloading of equipment on freight trucks
Cleans incoming equipment
Maintains and performs general warehouse duties
*HSE FUNCTION*
Cooperates with management in promoting, developing and maintaining a safe place of work and safe working practices and in meeting statutory health and safety requirements
Reports any work methods, plant, equipment or conditions in work area which are considered to be hazardous and submit suggestions to improve or remedy the situation
Drives defensively at all times observing posted speeds and traffic signs and adjusts driving as needed to meet road conditions
Prepares reports for any accidents/incidents (including near misses) which could have caused injury, damage or loss of production
Be aware of hazards of shop work
Ensures safety clothing/equipment is provided and maintains this clothing/equipment in a clean and serviceable condition and immediately reports any faults
Be familiar with safe handling and proper paperwork for Lithium batteries

| Qualifications: | Education / Requirements
At least one year of experience working in a warehouse, shop or similiar environment
Oil and Gas experience is a preferred but not required
Ability to communicate effectively in English
High School diploma or equivalent required
Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint)
Commercial drivers license desired but not required
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to stand for 12 hours
Ability to grasp and hold hand tools and other types of equipment
